GX1000 is a San Francisco based skateboarding brand. Founded on unadulterated adrenaline, GX1000 started as a crew of skateboarders putting a new definition on extreme skateboarding. Led by skate world hero, Ryan Garshell, the gang went viral with short videos of exhiliarting and at times frightening hill-bombs. The name GX1000 is actually a combination of Ryan’s last initials and his camera, the Sony VX1000. Initially a small run of merchandise to promote their videos, GX1000 quickly ascended to the top of the hill with tees, hoodies, pants and of course, boards.
